Privacy Policy

Last updated: 05/05/2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how CapiTrack (“the App”) handles information.

2. Personal Data

The App does not require account registration and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or contact details.

3. Financial and User-Generated Data

Data entered by users in the App, including portfolio information, assets, liabilities, passive income, goals, preferences, and related financial records, is stored locally on the user’s device.

The developer does not have access to this user-generated financial data.

4. iCloud Synchronization

If the user enables iCloud synchronization, App data may be stored in the user’s private iCloud account to sync or restore data across the user’s own devices.

This iCloud data is handled by Apple through the user’s Apple ID account. The developer does not have access to the contents of the user’s private iCloud data.

5. Face ID / Device Authentication

The App may optionally use Face ID, Touch ID, or device authentication to protect access to the App. Biometric data is processed securely by Apple on the device and is never collected, stored, or transmitted by the App.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s In-App Purchase system.

The App uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions, validate purchases, restore purchases, and unlock subscription features. RevenueCat may process purchase-related information such as purchase history, receipts, product identifiers, transaction status, device information, and anonymous app user identifiers.

The developer does not collect or store payment card details. Payments are processed by Apple through the user’s Apple ID account.

7. Analytics, Crash Reporting, and Diagnostics

The App uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics, services provided by Google, to improve app stability, performance, and user experience.

These services may collect diagnostic and usage information such as crash logs, device type, operating system version, app version, app interactions, session information, approximate geography, app opens, and in-app purchase events.

This information is used to diagnose technical issues, understand app usage, and improve the App.

8. Data Sharing

The App does not sell or rent personal data.

Data may be processed by third-party service providers used by the App, including Apple, RevenueCat, and Google Firebase, only for app functionality, purchase management, analytics, diagnostics, crash reporting, and service improvement.

9. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 13. The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Security

The developer implements reasonable safeguards within the App. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device, Apple ID, and iCloud account.
